Why can't we "Restore Back Lost Ecology & Ecosystems"

Earth is exploited at every nook and corner. Repair the torn apart pieces with development of natural resources bringing back the original ecology & lost ecosystems. Which can be only done by contributing your land, labor & capital and with efforts to take soil & moisture conservation along with afforestation keeping the environment clean free from all of pollution. Nature is very beutiful until it is protected and preserved. We have only done harm to the nature and exploited it for our selfish means but we have not learnt to repair, develop and maintain it so far. It requires decipline and our understanding in toto about restoration of the bronken linkages of the dead ecosystems .
